What does the future hold for KICKER?

I’ve got much further than I ever intended, though it’s also taken a lot more effort.

iPad, iPhone, Android phones and tablets, classic and modernised editions, solo and multiplayer modes....

I’m still working on two major features:

• Player and team databases that you can populate yourself.... Pseudonymising the current data. What didn’t bother anyone 35 years ago – real names and teams – might cause more of a fuss today.

• Bringing Kicker into the 21st century. So a season from 2026 or later with current rules and cup competitions, though certainly not 100 per cent – I thought the knockout cups back then, without a preliminary group stage, were brilliant

and, to be honest – it’s only really worth it if more than just a few of my relatives, friends and acquaintances still have some nostalgic feelings for KICKER.
